Yeah. Almost had the feel of a game where it was personal. LOTS of trash talking--not only from us (which was well documented on here the week following the WVU game), but also from them.

Makes you wonder what happened LAST year in Baton Rouge?? From the outside, it looked like there's a lot of bad blood between the 2 teams--more so than what a non-conference game normally has vs teams that don't play each other regularly.

That drunkard needs to keep his trap shut. If I were Miles I'd be pissed. Let the coach make whatever info available he chooses/can.

Bobby. It's often been said how he gets loaded for games then calls in.

actually Hokie asked Bobby how T-Bob was in the pregame...... He didn't seem loaded and guess wanted to let any Tiger/Saint fan ( I say it like that because im no Saints fan) that his leg injury wasn't bad because the trainers were trying to help T-Bob off the field. Anyone watching the game could tell someone rolled on T-Bob's leg. I just could't tell if it was an ankle or knee....

And any Florida, Tennessee, etc. fan. Better for the coach to release that kind of information imo. The fans have no constitutional right to know.

As critical as that position is, it's not one that would affect game planning a lot, necessarily. I just said that based on principle.

Bobby Hebert's drink of choice is a Jack and Coke. Dude often times gets trashed during and after the game, especially if it is a night game. Good for some great laughs. Out-of-towners can podcast him in iTunes.

True but do we really want our players' parents calling in while being plastered much less one who's a sportscaster being on air inebriated?

Urban Meyer's daughter plays volleyball at GT but that doesn't mean it would be okay for her dad to call a game while drinking, would it?

I do understand thats why when I responded I put he said it in the pregame... and you are right that Bobby prob shouldn't talk about injury while doing pregame for the saints, but Bobby is Bobby and anyone who listens to the saints while he was a player and now a commentator know that.

Also want to add that Deke and Bobby do a show more of a style two friends talking.... Bobby has good knowledge of the game because he played, and Deke I have no comment bout Deke.
