$600M in Libya so far. For or Against?

If you aren't fiscally conservative on all fronts I will indeed lump in you in the same group as those wanting to bankrupt us with Obamacare. Neo-Conservatives are no better than ultra-nanny-state-liberals in my book.

Intervention, going to war without declaring war, and sending our military to do acts of war without congressional approval is not something that I believe our Country is about.

Superpowers should not lead by force.

You can claim Paul is the only person advocating any of this. You just turn a blind eye to others:

Agreed, once you're there, you're there.

Son of a BITCH!!! Is that dinner bill going to be shared with the limies and the frogs or is that all uncle sam?

My fiancée and I got into it last night over this. It is very interesting living with a yankee liberal when you are a southern conservative. Anyway, her selling point was “Bush did it” and mine was “yeah and Obama chastised him for it.”
Lefty and Righty put aside, if this ends up removing ole boy from power and creating a alliance for us in the area then great…but I still say that the limies and the frogs should of handled this one and the president missed used the war power act.

I couldn't do it. And I'm not kidding. Just the same, I get into it with my mom all the time. She is a Rush Limbaugh blind follower with crazy right wing spewings.

I’m like that with my dad, he would vote for a blue dog named Bonnie and a yellow bird named Bob it they ran together on the democrat ticket for the presidency. In fact he wants me to change my party affiliation so it want alienate me from all the potential voters. I think he forgets that we are in a red state and that when it comes to the position that I will be running for, party affiliation does not matter one iota.

I think it works for me and my fiancée because you are both pretty middle of the road, and she inches towards my side with each day that passes.

To me it is irrelevant if the new comer is our "friend" now. We've seen the same thing happen with SH and OBL. Friends one day, enemies the next.

The real problem in my eyes is not even asking congress. No discussion. Nothing. He made his decision 5 days before announcing it while in Brazil and Congress on break. Then 10 days after that he let's the PEOPLE know his "reasons". And we just sit back and take it. Now on precedent the President can just go about anywhere and start wars. Even Secretary Gates said this is of no vital interest to the US.

None of these wars (iraq, afghan, pak, libya) will yield any long term results. Nor will they improve our national security. And all the while sending us further in debt.

Pretty much sums up my issues with getting involved. The big lefties seem to say, "we couldn't let it turn into another Bosnia." I say you got let people deal with their own ****.
