    maybe.

i do know that saddam wont be invading anyone again. i also know that dictators around the world are aware that america can and will hang them if they dont act right. and that is of enormous value.

Exactly. This is not a liberal/conservative thing. It is a thing one must have a conscience to understand. You do not possess this.

Try to be an adult, OK. This is a playground view of international politics.

people respond to actual incentives and actual threats. if bush told khaddafi we will invade unless he does x and y, he would believe him. and then violence would be averted.

obama doesnt have the same force behind his words. if he threatens war the way bush would, he loses his support and is voted out. his supporters are anti-war pussies.

Yes, it works that way on the playground. It is not so simple in the world.

You are being foolish and stereotypical like RWilliams. Obama has stepped up the war in Afghanistan and in Pakistan, stopped Qadaffi from pulverizing Benghazi, and killed bin Ladin. He has not lost democratic support and has real credentials an ineffective wielder of American military power. You would know this if you paid attention to the news.

thats a decent point. obama is more hardcore than most thought he was. thats why he is losing support from the left.
