Facts are stubborn things.....war is a money maker. The people who make the money are not on the front lines so they have no qualms about starting them. Why is that so difficult to understand?
thats true, every war in history has been a farce. in fact bad guys that need killing dont exist. oops wait a sec. i suspect i am misrepresenting your position. presumably you believe some wars are in fact legit. but that would mean your point is useless becasue you are not making a case that this particular war is a farce, you are just making a general and irrelevant statement. you enjoy doing this. most of the time yo make the point that government are not always trustworthy, then sit back and act like that proved wtc was blown up by american saboteurs, that worked quietly rigging thousands of pounds of high explosives while nearby office workers had board meetings and ate lunch and maintenance guys assumed the bombers were doing some plumbing. also they assumed the explosive rigs were just pipes or AC units or soemthign.
You make a good point....some wars are legit. I think the Civil War was legit....I think the South had a right to secede. The state governments formed the federal government and they had a right to dissolve their participation in it.

Man, you can't help but miss a point. The government told me that the South was wrong to secede, that Lincoln was right and a hero and freed the slaves. My point is that the South was correct in its defense of its territory. I'm no history major but I thought the North invaded the South, not the other way around. Jefferson Davis would have been happy to defend the border and leave the North alone....at least to my understanding. So, I'm sorry to disappoint you but the government is wrong again. Lincoln did not free the slaves and you are well-educated enough to know it. But as far as legitimate wars go....I would also say the Austro-Hungarian Empire was justified in declaring war on Serbia after the Archduke was assasinated. That seems justified....
The War on Terror is a farce. Yes, this is my position. We would have been much better served in engaging in stricter policing of the border, etc. rather than invading two Muslim countries. That decision was a very poor one...
