Mentioned this in a thread already, but I lost track of which. Anyway, Walker was hoping to fly up to the Notre Dame game today with some folks going and then make it back for some of our game against Auburn. Last night though it was said he sprained his ankle running for his life against Ruston then he eventually was carried off the field. Rumor is a fractured fibula which is a 4 to 6 week deal. Notre Dame trip obviously didn't happen as a result, but Walker is said to be trying to gut it out and make it to the Auburn game despite the injury. For those not following recruiting, Walker is arguably the best qb in the country and is a 5 star prospect. He lost a lot on offense including his linemen and a guy named Jack Bech this year. He's an LSU legacy as his father is former Tiger qb Jamie Howard. He's very good friends with 5 star LT Will Campbell and fellow LSU commit. Both have stated they want to try to enroll early if their schools allow it. Both could be day one starters next year. They also are very close friends with stud OG Emory Jones. They actually showed up for Emory when he did his commitment video. Having two outstanding offensive line recruits in state this year with a great qb is a rarity for Louisiana.
