This thread is a bit comical.:hihi: You've got a couple of parties arguing about the true definition of a "lie", with some serious talk about our QB situation peppered in here and there. :hihi::huh:
How embarassed would Ohio State be if we beat them with RP or Hatch at QB? And don't go lookin up embarassed in your Funk and Wagnalls.
Re: Flynn may not play. sorry i missed this. and for future reference, PM me and tell me to get on it and I will. But anywho, don't fret, guys and gals... Matt is fine. He is healing a little slower than expected, but the game is still 17-18 days away. and when you take into account that he almost played in the SECCG, it's hard to fathom him not being out there in the title game. But even if he isn't, Perrilloux with a month+ of preparation wouldn't be too bad, either. regardless, expect Perrilloux to play quite a bit, b/c LSU feels (and rightfully so) that they are much faster than Ohio state and can utilize some big runs to the edges.
The WAFB report paraphrases unnamed sources saying Flynn "will have a tough time making it through the BCS title game." I'm sorry, but I can't believe that anyone in the know—that is, presumably, someone in the Tiger program—would go to WAFB and say anything like that nearly three weeks before the game. In any event, I expect to see RP running entire series on Jan 7th. If the Tiger OLine can keep the Buckeye heat off of Matt, he should do well.
Re: Flynn may not play. Thanks for the update. :thumb: I wasn't sure if you were finished with finals is why I didn't PM you.
If RP does play i think you see a very conservative first half of running the ball and depending on the defense. the second half they will let it fly down field. I hope Flynn can play, cause he manages the game a lil better than RP. In this game you need great management and clutch play.:geaux:
Clair, as usual thanks for the update! Really bad when you stop listening to the news and wait for clair to shed light!!!:thumb:
