Because the “smart offer” was mentioned? If we paid for smart, what about the rest of the team from all over the US? Just roll over if y’all are pussing out like this. Assume the whole team is the result of dirty deeds. Fire Alleva, shit. Tired of defending his ass.

Rolling over my ass. I will take every banner we win and fly that shit high. I'm still disappointed, though...

    Been there, done that.

A few years after the sanctions, Ted Miller wrote, "It's become an accepted fact among informed college football observers that the NCAA sanctions against USC were a travesty of justice, and the NCAA's refusal to revisit that travesty are a massive act of cowardice on the part of the organization. That's the take of all clear-thinking people. (NCAA folks, just admit you blew it. The NCAA would take a huge step toward wiping away dumbfounding hypocrisy with a moment of honest self-reflection.) We, again, point out the obvious because it would have been electric to see two top-10 teams play in Autzen Stadium on Friday to truly figure out who the best team was in the Pac-12."

Remember the head of USC's COI was Paul fucking Dee. The same Paul Dee who was the AD at Miami and for almost a decade overlooked improper benefits from booster Nevin Shapiro. Miami committed FAR more serious infractions involving several Miami employees, over a much longer period of time but their punishment was only the loss of nine scholarships and three years compared to USC who was forced to vacate the final two wins of the 2004 championship season, as well as all of its wins in 2005. It was also banned from bowl games in both 2010 and 2011 and was docked 30 scholarships over three years. The basketball team gave up all of its wins from the 2007-08 season and sat out postseason play in 2010. The NCAA accepted USC's earlier elimination of its wins between November 2006 and May 2009 and did not sanction the team further."

Think about that....30 football scholarships over 3 years? Amazing that we didn't fall off the planet. And there was Paul Dee shaking his fat crooked finger at USC saying, " "high-profile athletes demand high-profile compliance." There were no rules on the books to that effect. Even in a regular court of law, you can't convict someone for a law that was put into effect AFTER you arrest them.

The Patriots cheat and go to 6 more Super Bowls and win 3 trophies. We allegedly over compensate 1 fucking kid and get busted within months. Is there no justice in this world?!...

You really think he’s the only one we may have paid?

I’d be disapoointed if we risked it all just for one guy.

Alleva should go ahead and forfeit the football season too. Is this about being squeaky clean or getting caught?

I can only offer my take on things I know. I won't speculate.

I don’t trust fking, Alleva, or the BOS to orchestrate anything for this university. They have all proven to be idiots when it comes to college athletics.
