i agree he sucks, and isnt close to as good as temple. i think he is coming back. but i also think its slightly possible he thinks it would be fun to play pro ball for 5 years before med school. maybe 100k in the g league, maybe 800k or a million over a career overseas, then go to school. thats a pretty cool plan. the main reason i think that is possible is i think he is moving way down the depth chart with hyatt and manning and bishop aboard.
There's always a role for somewone with his experience and leadership qualities. I'd love for him to come back.
happy to have him back as well. i dont think he will play as much. in the paper today mays says he isnt sure what he will do. i think he is motivated by the fact that he will not a have a season with as much playing time as he did last year. this is his window. i would be shocked if he plays in the league at all. but i think just trying out with them makes him legit in the eyes of israeli and serbian and whatever other teams that sign american ballers at better than decent salaries before they retire from sports and go to med school
