I understand being a fan, but WW was hit with 8 LEVEL 1 VIOLATIONS! At some point, you would think that common sense would tell you that he's a dirt bag! As for Wade's coaching, he leaves LSU after five years with 51 losses, one SEC regular season title, one suspension, one NCAA investigation, one FBI investigation, one internal investigation by LSU and one NCAA appearance. On a historical note, WW will hold the embarrassing distinction of being the only coach in NCAA history to take a pay cut to keep his job and the only coach where his two assistants will have a better NCAA tournament record than their head coach! I would say you can take that to the bank, but it seems like WW has beat you to the bank by using a joint bank account he shared with his wife to pay players off! What a complete DA!
michael jordan has 366 losses. the man that uses losses as a stat without wins for context is trying to trick you. i dont think paying players is wrong, i think its right. so does every successful coach. every coach you prefer to wade also pays his players. these sort of logical counterpoints dont appear to be something you can understand. i wish you the best.
Please don't insult Jordan by using his name in the same sentence as WW. Jordan proved his worth with several world championships. WW has one NCAA tournament appearance and will hold the distinction of being the only coach in NCAA history where his assistants will have more tournament wins than their HC! I think a more appropriate comparison would be Ryan Leaf, who thought he was the best but his actions/reactions showed a much different reality. You just have to realize that WW is gone for good and never to be seen again on the campus of LSU. Take all of your WW enthusiasm and energy and put it towards the women's team and take notes about how a real BB coach operates!
You may not agree, but WW is a POS! He is an embarrassment to LSU and now, due to his actions, future LSU basketball student athletes will have to pay the price for his stupidity!

darius days said today "coach wade we miss you and we love you" do you think i was wrong to speak for the players being happy with wade? my point was that wade was fired, according to the administration, not because he was guilty necessarily, but for the benefit of these players living under this black cloud of allegations. but that isnt true, the players are fine, and more were coming. we are not protecting the players. we are cowards bowing down to an idiotic NCAA that was humiliated by wade.
Can you just face the fact that WW is gone bye-bye! WW's biggest problem is he always thought he was the smartest guy in the room and was above reproach! As a result of his huge ego, he will never coach again on the D1 level and I think the NCAA will make sure of that! When you basically give the middle finger to your immediate bosses (LSU) and then to their bosses (the NCAA), things most likely aren't going to go in your favor. The worst part of this situation is LSU and it's future basketball student athletes will now have to pay for WW being a complete idiot. A real LSU fan would be beyond irate at WW for nationally embarrassing this wonderful and proud university. Listen to the national sports radio show and all you will hear are jokes about WW and LSU. I think most real fans will agree that LSU deserves better. And to the person that posted Hugh Freeze said hi, you apparently don't know the full story. A few years back Saban tried to hire Freeze as an analyst and the commissioner stepped in and said hell no. For a commissioner to step in and halt Saban's plan says a lot about the disdain the conference has for Freeze. Since that time, other universities have expressed interest in hiring Freeze, but as you can see, he's still at Liberty. WW will face the same fate when he tries to get back into the coaching circle. He can try and sweet talk his way all he wants, but bank records, text messages and the brutal sanctions the NCAA is about to hand down to LSU will be etched in the history books forever!
