supporting disadvantaged women in financial distress isnt something the NCAA supports. they want poor minorities to walk to work instead of having wade buy them a car so they can feed their young minority children.

none of that is a counterargument. if want to mock the idea of wade supporting minority women who have to drive to work, the stripper pole wont work itself, go ahead, because i was being facetious. if you stick to counterargument instead of insult you can learn about the position you oppose. do you have an counterargument to my actual point, that the young black men working hard should get the money they earn? again, just the tournament, 14 billion from CBS. who worked for that 14 billion? who exactly? why do people watch? who earned that?
Wade deserved to get fired. Maybe not for his coaching (or lack thereof) or even because he cheated. He deserved to get fired for being a dumb MF. Before NIL, did Saban entice players to go to Bama with $$. Absolutely! But he was smart. There never was going to be a connection between him and the $. And probably none directly to the rich boosters. A smart coach would always use intermediaries. Did Will Wade ever see The Godfather? With NIL, a coach can now have a booster set up a NIL contract and get him paid. But as I understand, NCAA regulations still do not allow either the coach or the university to be directly to the money. Another dumb move by Wade was the communication via text messages. Yes, I know that younger generations would rather text that actually talk, but it leaves a trail of the “conversation” you cannot erase. If he would have actually called people, the investigators would have only know that the date and time he contacted someone.
so people deserve to get fired not for doing bad things, but for getting caught? seems like wade's actual issue was his privacy was violated by the feds. he probably expected he had simple privacy from govt like all americans should expect. so like if my mom has cancer and smokes weed to help with the symptoms, its not that is smoking weed that she should be punished for, but if she does it on the porch were a cop smelled it? its not about the crime or the victims that dont exist, its about how easily you are caught? i say he shouldnt be fired at all, all major conferences should leave the NCAA, LSU should keep wade and push to destroy the NCAA. in the letter from woodward and tate, they say they had to fire wade for the players. so they can be free from under this cloud. thats a lie. they dont care. they like wade for him being a thorn in the side of the NCAA.
the players, yunno the whole point of this. the letter from SW and tate said they cant have this hanging over the players head. the premise is that they did this for the players. meanwhile all the players are fired up to be the bad boys of the SEC and 3 five stars were incoming. players know the NCAA doesnt exist to help them, but to screw them.
There's not a chance in hell an AD or school president is going to hire WW anytime soon. Who's going to let a DA like him represent their university or what AD is going to put their reputation/career on the line for someone who clearly has no respect for authority (LSU and the NCAA). He's an arrogant POS that thought he was above the rules, but LSU and the NCAA put him in his place. He has a stack of major violations, including paying off an ex-girlfriend to keep her mouth shut, that's going to keep him out of college basketball for a long time. I wouldn't be surprised if the NCAA bans him from coaching for 5 to 10 years. Could he eventually return to college basketball? Maybe, but I don't think he's mature or smart enough to do the right things to be afforded a second opportunity!
