if there is a year where a full unknown can do it this is probably the year. ohio state and usc guys are out of it, well should be. im sure the media will start the campaign for bradford/mccoy, whichever one wins next week. the other best rb's are from uconn and michigan state and most people will never watch one of their games. i guess chase daniel will be in the mix.
i was about to add chase daniel to your list. Id probably vote for him based on everything he does for that team. I mean 2nd to charles scott of course. but yes, now that the chalk is off the radar now, bradford will likely be the guy they pile on next. still plenty of season so when USC wins out against the cupcakes piling up numbers, someone will be right in the mix.
What's up with Knowshon Moreno? That guy hasn't really done squat this season. 149 yards against 'Zona and 168 against Central Michigan. Other than that he had (!) 59 yards against GSU, 34 against Bama and 79 against USCe. That's just rushing yardage, but still. Moreno and Stafford are about all UGA has on offense. I guess that's why. LSU has TOO many offensive weapons to give the love to just one player. Actually I'm surprised that LSU has given so many plays to Scott. Usually we have so many backs in and out of the game that no one gets a chance to have a stellar season. In the end though, LSU ends up as :champs: and sometimes even ends up with a :crystal: or two.
Injuries and freshmen in front of him. He would get Charles Scott numbers at LSU and is certainly still a great back.
No doubt! IF, and a big if, Miles or Crowton gives him the chance to. They seem to favor "running back by committee," which was my point. They do seem to be giving Scott his chances. Of course, I think that our O-Line has a LOT to do with it as well. If you look at what Scott is averaging per carry (I think it's like 7 or 8 yds,) that usually shows that he's getting HUGE holes to run through. Not taking anything away from him, because he's still a bruiser and always fights for that extra yard or two or three. PLus he's only had four games where as most other backs have had five.
I'm not I heard that Les sat down an listened to some of our geaux shows from last year, and I guess I really drove the point home about how running back by campus was a horrible idea. And anyone that played with this theme should be drug out into the street and shot. I guess something got through!
I just voted. (Can you vote every day on this one?) #32 is now about fourth on the poll. Let's give the man some support - vote early, vote often!
yes you can vote every day. By my count he is 7th . The disparity between 1st and 7th is huge. Moreno has 30k votes, Scott has 5k. Gotta step up the support! :geaux:
I have been voting daily. Is this anything other than a subjective poll, or does it actually end up having any influence?
