Why did this turn into a Reggie Bush Thread? Scott is a beast and kudos for him and all the individual success he may accomplish by making our TEAM freakin awesome.
So far, statistically or otherwise, he's been the best back LSU has had this decade. This is not a knock on Hester. He certainly had his strenghts and nobody else could have done what he did last year. But Charles Scott is playing on a whole other level so far this year. It's almost clairvoyance...the way he just KNOWS where the hole is going to be. He breaks tackles like Hester and cuts like Addai. The line doesn't hurt... :hihi: I hope he gives them a lot of kudos after every run. Bottom line, in a year where we NEEDED someone to step up like no other time in recent past, Scott is standing tall as a leader of our team. That is LSU football.
My point was on the field antics usually dont determine how classy someone is off the field -- Phillip Rivers is one of the nicest people in the world.
That poll is a joke. They have Beanie Wells with votes when he's played, what, one game. Also, Tebow has like 10% votes. Is that just cause of stats from last year, cause he doesn't have numbers to warrant that.
Ouch, lol. Maybe classy was a bit much, but I'm talking about in the pro's not necessarily in college. But I do agree that if Scott continues to perform like he has been (which I see NO reason why he shouldn't being that AU is already beaten,) he would mosdef be deserving of the Heisman. But for some reason that word, to me, just screams jinx.
Charles Scott was the man again tonight! 4 straight 100+ yard games. 1st since the great Charles Alexander!
thats a good start and not as easy as one would think. our o-line is dominant. please enjoy what we're seeing there folks. its not often you get to see such talent upfront dominate in that fashion. this is what differs LSU from most. this line will keep us in every game. that d-line aint too shabby either, eh?
