We'll finally get to see if Leach's offense will have success in the SEC. My guess is his success will be moderate. Tenn will have some great games that'll make him look like a genius and they'll have games where they look like crap. Just like every other stop he's been at. The Sumlin rumors reeked of desperation. If he couldn't win at A&M with the resources he had there, what makes Tenn think he'd do any better there?
Should be interesting; they play in the East. Not sold on UGA (think they get trucked this weekend). Mullen should have FU up, but he’s prone to brain farts now and again. At the very least, I’d expect Leach to beat Vandy and KY.
These idiots can't get out of their own way. Currie now fired and the Leach deal is in jeopardy because of a bunch of infighting with none other than Fat Phil. What a shit show
If they hire leach this could and should make the gumps worried. Leach's teams can score points; can they play enough D? Who knows but a strong hire at rocky top helps everyone as the gumps have to play these guys every year. It would be nice to see them have to actually fight for a win against Tenn each year instead of a rent a win like they have had in the last several years.
And the shit show continues into Act 8. Or is it the 9th or 10th act by now? Maybe they should just put all the season ticket holders names in a hat and have a drawing. Winner gets to be coach for a season.
OMG! This is great! Alleva looks like a smooth operator right about now, and Tennessee could have him for a hope and a prayer.
