    They could get Mallet with this deal, ala Mustain, et al, at Arky.

    Here's a question: since Mallett wasn't redshirted this year, can they use his redshirt next season when he'd be ineligible anyway? I think this happpened with Brock Berlin when he went to Miami.

    nothing would excite me more than a big 1(1) offensive coordinator and a 43% completion percentage qb.

    For Fulmer this is probably the best newsworthy move he can make to add a couple more years to his coaching life at UT.

    Mallett has to sit out if he transfers to any I-A school. Since, like you mentioned, he did play this season (his true freshman season), he'll sit out '08 and still have 3 more years to compete.
