i am concerned about the idea that big businesses are "too big to fail" and are bailed out. i am concerned that we give people cash for clunkers. i am concerned about the possibility of massive cap and trade taxes. i am concerned about the manipulation of the health care system by the government. in general i am concerned about the growth of government. freedom is extraordinarily important. the people should be free from the burdensome cost and control of big government.
Neither did you answer mine in the other thread. Matter of fact you didn't acknowledge my points either. You belittled other peoples beliefs. This is still America and I won't answer your question. I will decide who I will talk to and what I will say not you deciding for me!
I don't mind if people in the public spotlight (actors, athletes, etc.) voice their opinion about politics. I do have a problem with them getting a forum simply because they're in the spotlight. That's where many Americans are stupid. Why someone gives more credence to a well known person doesn't make sense. For example...If Michael Jordan is talking about brands of basketballs or basketball shoes...I'll listen. If he wants to sell me underwear, deodorant, cologne, or toothpaste...I think I'll trust my own opinion. I don't understand why we're so enamored with celebrity in this country. The sheep of America have an insatiable desire to follow. (even to the path of destruction...aka: Democrats) With that said...Voight is right! :grin:
I am concerned about the debt that our country faces. I am concerned about the decline of our standard of living, the economy and along with that the ability to defend ourselves from our enemies. Along with the decline of the standard of living, our children and grand children will pay the ultimate price unless we reign in spending no matter who is expanding and spending government like there is no tomorrow. Where do people think the money is coming from? We already had a stimulus to bail out the states and their budgets and now they need another one before Pelosi care? People just seem like they have no clue what is going on. Half the states are out of money before Pelosi Care even further drains the states funds. Why some around here have no clue at what is going on is beyond my wildest dreams???
