I avoided my first potential Amazon purchase today....bought a pack of Shark vacuum cleaner replacement parts on ebay. It felt great. Dissenter browser - love it so far. I started another ProtonMail account ( i had one for some of my illicit activities, but with an obscure username). Going to eventually transition my regular gmail to that account, then adios to google. Gab looks solid and quite intuitive , but it's hit and miss with speed....sometimes just too slow....understandable with their phenomenal growth.
Just bought a 1lb to 20lb propane adapter hose from Walmart today. Delivery is Thursday. It's kinda fun avoiding buying from Amazon. And feels great.
I'm all in on AMAZON. The local/mom and pop places around here have poor inventory, poor prices and terrible service. It used to be that the small places could win on service. Not much any more. You go in the local hardware store, some kid, who I presume is the owner's son is popping pimples trying to avoid eye contact, and the young lady is on her phone. Sorry, not sorry!
