didnt realize he was such a wacko. although i guess my feeling is that he's worse than a wacko. he doesnt believe this stuff, but he's wants the votes so he wont tell the wacko that he's wacko. David Vitter backs birther lawsuits - Andy Barr - POLITICO.com "Asked by a man during an event in Metairie, Louisiana on Sunday what he would “personally do” about Obama’s “refusal” to produce a birth certificate, Vitter said he is not “dismissing” the birther theory despite the fact that documentation shows the president was born in the state of Hawaii. “I personally don't have standing to bring litigation in court,” Vitter responded. “But I support conservative legal organizations and others who would bring that to court. I think that is the valid and most possibly effective grounds to do it.” Read more: David Vitter backs birther lawsuits - Andy Barr - POLITICO.com "
i have a semi-related question i would like to ask birthers. if my mom went to mexico on a beach vacation and then i was born a couple weeks premature, before she had a chance to get back home, would that make me unfit to be president? i dont understand why it matters. although i can see that obama is so bad for the country that you want to get rid of him any way you can i guess.
Vitter is banking on the consevative, hate Obama votes to ignore his hypocritism, and vote for him (IMO a good move, he'll get re-elected.) in spite of Hawaii producing his birth certificate and his birth announcement (do they think the liberal conspirisy planted his birth announcement knowing he'd get elected president 48 years later?) But it doesn't change the fact that he's a tool who will do anything to get elected.
Wasn't McCain born in Panama? Also, aren't you an American if your mom is American no matter where you're born?
Man, I guess I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning so my apologies in advance. You guys are a bunch of morons. Where was the guy born, Hawaii or not? That's the pertinent question here. He should answer that question and then move on....if there is a certificate of live birth then produce the thing. Hypothetical questions are pointless, it is a simple question of facts....
im pretty sure, no. my wife is australian and our son was born in the US. he doesnt automatically get australian citizenship. not sure if the US does things the same. i bet there are specific conditions where children of citizens born overseas automatically get citizenship---like if they are employed by the US.
