I'd rather Scott be able to see where he is going. In the heat and humidity of Louisiana, there would be a lot of fogged-up and muddy visors for players to see through. Practicality trumps style.

i am glad they cannot wear visors.
in high school you cant wear tinted ones for safety.if you are knocked out the drs have to see your eyes with taking off helmet.
they also do get sweat on the inside and you have to wipe off.iahve seen this on a first hand experiance has i officiate football games

    you're reaching.

I don't know the reason, but I do know the players can't wear them unless they have to.

I would wear one as a precaution if I were a football player, but I'm not one, so.

    Just to be messy
Wouldn't mind LSU wearing a different uniform in fact some of the players wouldn't mind as well.

Based on what? Ask a player if visors ever get sweaty and fogged on the inside or get rain or mud on them. It sure looks like it from the stands.

    Ahhh, yes.

I think I pretty much knew the reason the visors weren't allowed. I don't particularly care for the flashy things as much as I like to watch a talented player run with the ball; however, I could understand all those hands and fingers accidentallty gettin thrown in a players face time to time.
