False River is a nice place. I used to spend my summers their at our family camp. I do not live in Louisiana any longer, but you can most certainly get a limo to the game. More expensive than a cab, but the experience will be nicer and they can drop you off right in the thick of it. The nice option is you know your ride will be there after the game. I am coming in for the LSU ARK game this year and that is what we are doing, but we are staying in NO.
Well if you like a little pork in your boudin why not Dons? Billy's is there close by but not as good as Dons. Best Stop is close too but has too much rice IMO guess its just a matter of taste for everyone.
And there sur, is the history of boudin. Taste delivered by that local who we all think, is the best ever. No 2 are the same really unless they are Don's. It's the holes in the wall you only see when you live there or, told by a good friend. The link I will swear by wouldn't make many folks top 10. It's a local or even regional place that has the same crowd, day in and out. Truth is, I have never liked Don's and the same goes for the many I know. Doesn't make my opinion legend, but at least it's qualified and well informed.
My Dad swears by this place called the Best stop. I am just lazy and stop at Scott and go to Billy's. They have more hot food items there for the kids. We only make it out that way a few times a year.
