Don's? Really?? Their boudin is garbage. Poor fella is a visitor, why would you send him to a joint that sets the bar so low? If you are in NOLA, mayyybe, but anywhere else has even a simple standard.

Friends don't send friends to Don's. Unless all you need is a water.

Looking at your avatar you have been in Cal too long must be eating vegie boudin there and lost your taste.

 

I'm from Lake Charles and I am the boudin whisperer. Such to the point that I make my own which, is certain if all I had was a choice between Don's and nothing.

From all of the brilliant choices in Louisiana, Don's shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath.

I was just curious, i dont eat that crap anyway, not boudin, that is food of the gods. Anything bloody that is not named steak can go in the trash with the chitlins and cracklins.

 

Yes since you were a child. My dad used to talk about it often. He thinks it's the best.

 

If its what i think it is then it should be. Who would ruin good boudin like that?
