To add to the point, in 2009, Va Tech signed only 2 of the 13 4-stars in their state.

You must have meant to quote Isl. Obviously I dont judge people by one game. Especially when they are playing a team that is similar to them.

I have never seen a team take more cheap shots, commit more dirty fouls, than that late hitting, eye-gouging bunch from VT. Praise him if you want, but I have no respect for a coach who fields a team that acts that way.

I love violent football, VT isn't violent, they are cowards who can't man up and beat you one on one.

Have always felt that Chaz had Beckwith on that play, and Beckwith did not attack. Lee was losing Dorsey and Chaz spun and went low like everyone else on the line except Lee. If I had to blame anyone for that it is Lee for blowing his assignment.

In any case I will forever remain in the minority position on this. If I thought it was intentional I would say so.

VT, on the other hand; throwing punches while guys are down, hands going behind facemask after tackles, flagrant shots out of bounds.....

I am in favor of intimindation as much as anyone. Part of the game. Things will happen when you play tough. But intentionally trying to hurt someone is different. Once again, I know my view of Chaz is not shared, but it is not one formed from drinking kool-aid.

Might as well add, one of my best friends had his career ended by a chop block while he was playing against Penn State. I have no love for the tactic.

For what it is worth, Chaz had a career ending back injury. If I am wrong about his intent, then just call it Karma.
