Can anyone give information on getting LSU and other SEC matchups in the Big 10 market...specifically the Toledo, OH area? Looking into ESPN Game Plan, LSU's Geaux Zone, or Slingbox. Does anyone have past experiences they'd like to share and/or personal recommendations concerning any of the above three? Any other suggestions?? We're starting to realize how much we will miss the Lincoln Financial games & CST rebroadcasts + coverage of basketball & baseball. Our 12 year old son is doing his part by defending LSU & the SEC's honor at his school. Of course, SEC victories over OSU two years running give him much satisfaction & bragging rights! THANKS!
I live/work overseas so I can tell you the slingbox I bought has been great. Had some minor technical issues with the volume but their online help is actually really good. Only drawback is watching it on the computer screen and sometimes the picture gets a little grainy or choppy with really fast action but that is pretty picky....I used to be happy to listen to the audio online a few years ago. The other good thing about the slingbox is you pay for it once.... :geauxtige
I am in Atlanta and we get the games on game plan with no problem. Also if your internet service provider, provides you with espn360 you can watch the games online on that site. To find out if you have espn360 go to espn360.com The site will tell you if you are able to get it or not. I also have Direct tv and most of the games or on one station or another.:geaux:
The games are shown on these networks: Raycom: Games are available on-line or on ESPN Gameplan. CBS: You obviously will get this game. ESPN/2: Gameplan or TV. Fox Sports: You will need Direct TV or some premium package to get the SE games, but I believe there are only a couple on Fox Sports this year. I obviously could be screwing this up but it seems that all you really need is Gameplan for live broadcasts.
I live in northern Indiana. I can only watch LSU games and other SEC games whenever they are on CBS, ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2.
Also check ESPN360.com from week to week.. if you can use it (depends on your provider I think), you may be able to catch some LSU games that you wouldn't otherwise catch some weeks. The App. St. game will be streamed it looks like...
I'm displaced in Wisconsin and get the games on Directv with ESPN Gameplan no problem. I didn't miss a game last year. :geaux:
