I know CLM gets a lot of grief because he's not the most articulate speaker (to say the least), but every time I hear him talk about the team and players specifically, I think he's amazing. I mean, it's not necessarily what he says, but how he says it. You can tell he loves and respects the players, and it's that comes across when he says things like, "damn strong football team." After watching the post-BCSCG press conference (I think it was that one) when he corrected the reporter about him (Miles) throwing that last-second TD against Auburn, and he said, "I didn't throw that ball, FLYNN did that"...he did a couple of things like that, where he praised the players instead of taking the glory himself, and I thought, "DAYUM, I want to play for that guy." And I've wondered before if it isn't something that would appeal to some recruits.
