Yeah, well there's proof of how close they are. You can see Patrick Johnson will be a leader on this team and soon.
The video did show that they are friends, having fun on camera. But take that for what it's worth- not much when it comes to a guy choosing what college he's going to attend.
no doubt he has to choose what's best for him but at the same time Pryor saying he wants to play on the same team as PJ is meaningful and it's what has gotten LSU in the picture.....bet that
I won't in any way say this is a done deal. I'll go as far as to say that LSU is probably still 3rd or 4th on the list, but I talked to my highest guy today in terms of reliability and LSU does at least think they have a chance... A lot of times with these kids, the school knows deep down they have no shot, but apparently Crowton and Pryor discussed real specific, down-to-a-T stuff and they think he is really interested in what they had to say. Crowton asked him straight up if he was serious about going to LSU and apparently Terrelle promised Coach that he was being sincere and wasn't using a smokescreen or anything like that. The kicker in his eyes is the "Damn Strong football team" speech by Coach Miles. He said he wants to play for "a guy like that." Now whether "a guy like that" is good enough to get him to go across the country is unknown, but I like LSU's chances a little better now than yest.
Thanks for that post Clair. I'll say it once more. Just get him on campus. That's all I ask. The rest will take care of itself and we shall pull off a huge signing day surprise. Biggest one in a long time by ANY team.
