I am so confused here, I am tired, and I am mad about all this crap about Vick. I just don't find the story funny is all.
me either. i think it is awful. i also think it is awful the dogs will be killed if they cant find a home. however, the situational irony involved humors me.
i don't either. and i a sure that they can't go to just any home because they probably need a lot of emotional rehab and need owners that can help them adjust to normal life. that's not unusual for rescue dogs, so i would be surprised if these don't fit that category.
the sad part is even if they go to a shelter, dog fighting owners buy these dogs to train their killing dogs. obviously, the newly bought dogs die. their is more to dog fighting than the actual fight. some people just dont realize that. its really sad.
that doesn't surprise me. the way these dogs have been raised, i am sure that a lot are not able to be rehabed pets. that is so sad to me. i wish a substantial fine would go to pay for a sanctuary to take care of and rehab the ones that can make a transition to a pet life.
That happens all the time.....we have "Dog catchers", they pick up strays, put them in a pound and if they aren't claimed/adopted in so many days.......
