Vic Koenning heading to K-State

Rivals is reporting that Koenning is arriving in Manhattan today and will be DC there soon

 

manhattan? is that really the name of the town?

 

Wonder if he's getting the coach in waiting deal without it being publicized? If all the insiders said it was his job to turn down that would be the only explanation. Of course he is a K-State alum and that could play a part.

:geaux: Coach in waiting and being an alum must be the reasons. Otherwise I can't see why he would go to K-State over LSU.:dis: I hope they still have a foot in Chavis's door. All this foot dragging by LSU in hiring a DC is appearantly starting to bite us in the ass, assuming this move happens. Shoulda coulda been done much sooner and been over with. :LSU231:

 

I can think of one or two reasons. Maybe we dicked around and dragged our feet too long.
