Safe sex is pretty harmless too, but I wouldn't recommend it for kids even under adult supervision. There are indeed harmless things that kids are not ready for, weed being one of them.

The world would be a better place if it were.

Using safe sex as an example is no better than PB. There isn't really any such thing as "safe", only "safer". And it still doesn't answer the question I posed. Why, SPECIFICALLY, would you not give pot to children? You can say harmless all day long but it does not change the fact that pot changes the chemistry of the brain, it alters the functioning of the brain. If it did nothing at all but provide benefits, then the gubment would already have made it into a pill for people to take OTC. There is a reason why people refer to taking drugs as "using". People "use" pot primarily for reasons that are not health related like they do with medical marijuana.

But if it's completely harmless, then why not give it to kids? What are they not ready for?

Right.....because serious dopers are doing so much already to shape the world and get shit done, lol.

At least you are mostly honest. It's a brain changer, a mood enhancer, etc. It's a drug, plain and simple.

I have kids...stress is a regular vibe. I haven't had time to watch ESECSPiN, oops, I mean Sportscenter in quite some time. There are other ways to relax, n'est-ce-pas? Just like I don't care if others smoke dope, I don't care if someone wants to have a drink to relax at the end of the day or even be an alcoholic as long as they don't drive or hurt other people. I drink far less today than I have at any point in my life, rarely in fact. I prefer the body's natural morphine, the kind that comes from exercise. Either that or a hot bath and a good book. To each their own.

It's definitely a mood enhancer. Puts you in a really good mood. It must be illegal if it does that. Can't have people feeling good with no harm done to them. Then they will spend all their money on that and not McDonalds or Gasoline, or other drugs we made legal with a prescription. Hell mainly because it might make you realize everything is bullshit, a giant facade.

It doesn't put everyone in a really good mood. That's just plain false. If it's nothing but a happy panacea that does no harm, then why not let air traffic controllers use? Let's let people drive under the influence. How about your surgeon tokes a bit before slicing in to you? Don't you want a happy surgeon?

It's a drug. It has risks and behaviors that need to be limited under its influence. There are some people for whom it's effects are exactly the opposite than the way you experience them. Can you admit any of that?

Yep. I can't foresee a time where I won't or can't exercise. It would crush me to be that disabled.
