i'm really tired of inept SEC officiating. It really sours me on college football in general. I have no interest in watching the SEC championship.

I thought a well officiated game (and very exciting)was Oregon/USC. The refs blew 1 obvious call and obviously made up for it on the next play. the game was decided entirely by the kids on the field. it was what it was.

To the initial poster - WOW! Go back and re-watch that game. I did.

There were a lot of missed calls in this game but missed calls hurt both teams. That's not a conspiracy unless its a conspiracy to just not call holding, et al.

Was that play in the 4th an interception? I think it was. But if it was a conspiracy, then why didn't the officials review the safety call on Bama when an elligable receiver was within 3 yards from where the ball hit the turf? (Go check out Mark Ingram on the 2 yard line on that play.)

Why did the offiicals miss so many holding calls on both sides of the ball? Both Bama and LSU got away with handfuls of jersey over and over. Go back and watch LSU's first TD drive and pay attention to the blockers. Not only were holding calls missed but so was an obvious block in the back that substantially aided the play.

The refs screwed up - a lot. But their mistakes hurt both teams. That's not the makings of a conspiracy. Injuries (and cramps) hurt LSU worse than the officials. Its hard to win when you lose 3 starters during a game. The officials didn't cause 24 first downs to 13, but injuries may have.
