Hey man, I did EXACTLY what you told me to do. I googled "Randle dropped passes". Anywho, I don't need to watch the games to see anything. I already have...and I've seen Randle display the best hands on the team, despite shoddy QB play. As your link stated, the ball was high. Should he have caught it? Probably. It's unfortunate that it wound up in Etheridge's hands. But it doesn't compare to Lafell's juggling act that wound up an INT when he was a sophomore. As Tiga pointed out, Shep also had many drops, but again...most of the passes hit him right where he USED to be...not where he was. If you think the WRs are responsible for the lack of passing game last year, I don't know what else to say to you. As for Randle, he's 6'4" and 220. If he runs a 4.5 40, that IS elite speed for a guy that size. But again, as Tiga said...it's his elusiveness that sets him apart. Dude's slicker than owl sh!t.
again, i think the QBs, WRs, and coaches all share blame for the poor passing game. Randle was just a soph so you've got to cut him some slack... but i expect improvement from him, the other receivers, the QBs, and the coaching/gameplanning/playcalling this season
