Just wanted to let you all know kind of early that the same night LSU plays TCU, the Rangers play the Twins literally next door. So, all those that got those sweet parking spots by the Rangers stadium will find it somewhat harder to do the same this time as most of those lots are Ranger reserved parking. The parking at the Cowboy stadium can be bought ahead of time but beware they have specific "tailgate parking spots" for cars. I'm not sure what they do if you just bust out an ice chest, canopy (August), etc etc in a regular spot. I am also not sure if the Cowboys have any/much to do with selling spots far in advance.
And the Rangers start at 1900, it will be a mad house! Maybe they will move the Ranger game to afternoon, but I doubt it.
What ??? .. Are the Rangers drawing crowds these days?? Back when I used to watch them at Arlington Stadium, parking spots were pretty much all front row parking. Had the right field bleachers pretty much all to myself.
Going to a couple of World Series 2 out of the last 3 years has changed things a little...................
I went to a home game with them last year with the Red Sox's, it was packed. Nice stadium as it was my first Rangers game. I want to go to the LSU/TCU game this year as I live close enough to justify it. Need to look into tickets.
Is it just me or does anybody else think this could be the least attended road opener as of recent? Even though it's a game that should have plenty of competition I don't see much interest in this matchup. Like Clemson, some people are going to be surprised, I think. Not that we'll necessarily lose- though we could.
