That’s what I was getting at. If he Still has his guy then it all makes sense. The waiting is the hardest part so says Tom petty. All the craziness in bt is the anxiety.

Disagree. If it were Rhule, they could have made an announcement weeks ago. He could continue to coach Carolina thru the end of the season (if the GM wanted him to) and he could start making calls to recruits. This would be true for any coach or coordinator currently in the NFL.
The only reasons for not having an announcement yet are: 1. Woodward got played. 2. Our next HC is still coaching a team playing meaningful games. With Dec 15 as signing day, I don’t think we can afford to wait past Monday next week to make a selection. So look at the coaches playing Sat. in conference championship games. I believe that our next HC is coacihng in one of those games.

The same Justin Vincent who torched Oklahoma on the 1st play in the BCS championship game?

So when I wrote the above, I was clearly thinking about Aranda. But there is another (very remote) possibility of a HC coaching in a championship game who could come our way. Yes, I am talking about Nick! You heard his rant last week about the delusional Ala. fan base. So how upset are they going to be after Ga. rips them a new one this coming Sat.? They will be jumping off buildings mad. And if he leaves them to come back to LSU? Would you consider hiring Nick as swinging for the fences?

I don’t really want Nick. He requires too many naps these days.

Nick would definitely be a walk off grand slam; and of course SC would give 15MM/Yr and his first born - but there is no way.
