Every week I hear this guy out of Vegas who does picks on college games (he could be a crackpot of all I know) and found it funny when they asked him about the LSU game this week he said take Mississippi and the points. Which lead to the discussion of the game and he said that he has been repeating it since the Florida game that LSU seems very disfunctional. By that I can only imagine his meaning, but I wonder if this is the general consensus in Vegas on the current LSU season. I don't post much and mostly just read throughout the week over the years but after watching tonights game I kinda just had to throw in my two cents although its possible I might get it thrown back at me and then some. For the past couple years you have the one side that has had LSU rebuilding last year and this year. The other side says LSU has had as much or more talent than most of the top ball clubs in the country except in the one critical spot where it counts most "QB". I have even seen some post tonight where people are saying we are rebuilding and just wait till next year but thats bull how many years do you want to be in the rebuilding cycle. I tend to agree with the latter on this if you look at it we have another ball club full of some of the top tallent in the country. But even with all that talent we seem to be just mediocre the last 2 seasons and I don't want to point fingers and lay it on the coaching but it seems more and more that is where it has to fall. Which Coach gets the most is just as much a crap shoot. The Hat while I think knows what he wants can't or won't take that approach like Saban or Meyers of grab the balls and let everyone know who is in control. Yes I know they are both SOB's but damn man at least you know who is in control. Crowton is a bust to me. I have been waiting for this guns blazing/blitzkrieg/make them shiver offense each year and we just seem to be the same old blah. The talent has been there but sorry the game plan and coaching hasn't. The biggest glaring problem on Offense is QB or the lack of one. Is it the system they are handed or is it them but I just don't see the game management skills either in thier heads or on the field for any of our QB's. All I heard out of the coaches and players was the JJ and Sheppard shock and awe offensive spectacular. The other team won't know what hit them or from where. So far its been :huh:. Defense is still a question mark. We have the players but again I just don't see the coaching. Everyone says hey its his first year and you have to give the system time but that is a crock we are a so so defense and Muschamp has Texas just smothering teams with the same kind or talent or maybe less and I believe its his first year at UT (Please correct me if I am wrong). Regardless of what his system is he has a ton of talent and it should be up to him to put in the best system this year to take advantage of that talent. I haven't seen that happen. I don't want to say fire everyone but man they gotta shake out these brain farts week after week and set down the law on who is doing what and how we are going to do it. Maybe Vegas knows and has the inside scoop that the LSU coaches and players for the past few years have been a so called dysfunctional organization but its still college football and fun to watch. B
Could be as I have no idea on what the line was for the game. Don't do much betting but was just more listening to the banter going on between them on the radio.
