(comment from someone in this thread addressed to me)

"I think you are the one taking basketball too personal and are looking for fights. Lighten up."

Not at all, I'm not trying to fight with anyone here and I'm not taking anything personal, matter of fact I won't waste my time fighting.
Its pretty hard to argue with anything I've said in this thread, its all facts other than my opinion as follows but I don't see how anyone can question a coach with a sub 500 record overall.
Keep in mind those that stick up for Brady wouldn't put up with this crap in football or baseball.
You can't argue with that either.

Just tired of hearing what a good coach Brady was, well in eleven years at LSU, his record doesn't reflect that, quite the opposite.
He doesn't even have a .500 record in conference play.

Then maybe you should read it more carefully.
Especially how I talked about BP executing and doing a better job than your good coach Brady did this year.

Good grief, I feel sorry for you if you can't figure that out!

Sorry, Gumbo, I'm posting in reply to your post, but this is perhaps directed to clair and others that sort of started this thread.

My take on this thread is ... it's just so hypocritical. The same people that were bashing on Brady now seem to be bashing on Grant... perhaps it's indicative of just either (1) LSU fans' general lack of knowledge about hoops, or (2) their inclination to get on threads and b*tch no matter what.

What makes Grant qualified? Uh, he's a good recruiter, recruited many of the guys that won Donovan two titles, actually played forward at Dayton, actually coached bigs at Florida (now showing a penchant to coach a guard oriented offense--can you say coaching "flexibility"), emphasizes defense and a high pressure defense. On top of that his character is impecable, he's loved by his community, AND he'd be the first black coach at LSU in a major sport--which cannot be underestimated in this community and in this sport. He's won in high school, won at UF, won at VCU. He's a SEC coach true and true and knows the South. Sorry, I'm failing to see why he isn't worth looking real hard at?

Yes, would we love to have a PROVEN winner, head coach with perhaps NBA experience? Sure. BUT that is not what LSU is going to pay for or get, folks. So, you bitch about Brady (who took us to a final four... sorry to keep bringing that up) and then the complete opposite of Brady (something that everyone seemed to want) in some very meaningful ways is proposed and he's blasted? Just doesn't sound logical to me...

We would be lucky to get Grant folks. Are there others that could also fit and drive results at LSU? Sure, but not very many that fit like Grant, IMO.

:geauxtige LSU IS A BASKETBALL SCHOOL. BE A FAN.

We know you have nothing to do but this stuff Sabanfan.
Thats ok, sourgrapes cause you were wrong about something.
It was my last post until someone brought up what a good X's and O's coach Brady was.
I just wanted to set the record straight because I'm tired of you and others saying what a good coach he was, well if he was he'd still be here.
I wish people would quite comparing people to Brady, he is gone and done!

Keep in mind I don't waste my time in the baseball threads, something I feel the same about as you do in basketball but then again I got a life and you don't!

You still can't prove any of my points above wrong but it was a nice try.
    You lost again!:insane:

    Whatever :dis:

If I had the time (which I do) and the inclination (which I don't) I'd find some of your pro Brady posts after the Duke win and during the FF week 2 years ago and shove your words right up your dark place.
