Thats what cost him his job in the end isn't it? Hey, Do I truly believe brady was a bad X's and O's guy? Probably not but I think some have overrated him in this thread. I don't think he's as good as some believe. Seems like a recruiting problem or something if you can't get a decent point guard to run your offense, if memory serves me right Dale NEVER had that problem, Brady seems to be short on guards most of the time. Brady had many problems here including the ones you have mentioned. Look at the offense under him throughout his career here, sometimes they were lost and just didn't know how to execute. Seems like I was right on the money here. I don't ever remember saying the teams were poor defensively under Brady for eleven years, probably was stated in general terms. Why not? So this is true? He did make it to the sweet sixteen with sanctions one year if I remember right. This is true the last 2 years, there is no excuse why a team coming off a final four was that bad, Brady had his chances over the years. Two SEC titles in nine chances doesn't seem to be very good to me especially playing in the SEC West where the division is wide open, might be good enough in the SEC east however. Seems like others in this thread are guilty of the same thing doesn't it? I don't believe he was a bottom feeding joke, I just don't excuse the bad years like others have. Fair enough but Dale Brown was a good guy and not a jerk. That was Brady's problem and one reason most people didn't support him. I disagree, you are assuming here, no way of knowing. If you are talking tournament, they should have made it the year after the final four. Once again, bottomline, Brady was a jerk whether or not he was a decent coach. That is why players left the team over the years, that is why he lost his job, Players didn't like him not to mention the inappropriate comments he made publicly to embarass the university and his family. I don't have any problems with Brady personnally and I do wish him well as he moves on but I'm glad he's gone. What I didn't like about him is his attitude and the way he mis-handled situations.

another thing: Can the "Oh, you all didn't accept this from Smoke" crap. Brady took over a team that won like 10 games. Smoke took over a team that won 5 national titles. Even at the lowest years (like this and last), the team was still better than Dale left it.
