Let me say while I enjoy my vanilla ice cream and watching the Tigers so far this season I have been wondering if our vanilla offense can get us through the toughest games of the season coming up, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama.I think Fla game got a bit easier BUT I am a little worried because our team's defense doesn't know exactly what to prepare for, Tim Burton or the other QB. Now that I got myself a little off topic I am back to wondering if the wrinkles are about to show in our offense or maybe we can hold back until the Alabama game. After all our offense seems to be our weakest link.:LSU231:
We have not really seen a stout defense yet, so why not just go with what works until we actually face a stout defense and need to game plan around that?
I think it's a delicious vanilla offense, now with a tasty chocolate syrup and soon to have an impressive cherry on top.
not to mention it is Sunday, Hot Fudge Sunday, all of this sounds good to me! Geaux Tigers!:tigereye:
Same reason we don't do onside kicks, for example, while we're up 17 points and kicking with 3 minutes left. Or why we'd never shown that over the shoulder fake FG. I understand you're logic but his too. I think his is correct here. Not showing your hand is effective. Keeps them wondering if we're bluffing or holding a boat. Would be hard not to show this hand but if he lays his hand down, why would you?
