LSU nearly shuts out Vandy and wins 27-3 but that's because Vandy sucks. Vandy beats Ole Miss but that's not because Perhaps Vandy doesn't suck but because Ole Miss sucks even more. OK got it. Also, I'm pretty sure that Bama leads Duke 35-3 because Bama is goooooooood. Right?
i thought vandy was the worst team i EVER saw in my life against LSU last weekend, honestly -- though a lot of it had to do with LSU's defense. what does that mean? ole miss must be really, really, really bad. or vandy had considerable improvement? well, which is it? i didn't see the game. but i think it's safe to say that in the SEC: 1-) florida is the most beatable "big game" on our schedule. WVU? hmmmm 2-) UGA is done. richt is done. if CLM's seat is supposedly as hot as it is.... 3-) ar-kansas is the team to beat in the west (outside of bama.) 4-) jury is still out on auburn, stay tuned. say what you will about our team, our offense, at least we are somewhat consistent. some of these teams are all over the place. we haven't played yet, but i am feeling pretty good about our chances in atlanta! GEAUX TIGERS!!!!
Arkansas' defense isnt shyt. If we can run the ball and control the clock on them we beat them. Keep Mallet off the field, thats the key.
You lost me right there. You can't say UGA is done/Richt is done, like UGA is terrible, and then crown Arky as THE threat to Bama in the west, just because they squeaked past that same terrible UGA team/coach.
I think the Ole Miss game today probably shows that the LSU defense was really very good last week. But you can still can't feel too good about this offense for LSU.
I think Ole Miss is really, really, really bad. But Vady's win over an SEC foe makes LSU's win look better; however, Ole Miss did lose to a FCS team and struggled to beat Tulane. At this point, I would be surprised if Ole Miss does better than 6-6, and Vandy will be lucky to match that. So, while Vandy's win looks better for LSU, it's not saying a whole lot considering how terrible Ole Miss looks. Right now, Ole Miss is the worst team int he SEC with Vandy a close second. LSU needs Vandy to beat at least one more SEC team for it to look even better. Keep in mind that Vandy didn't win a single SEC game last year, and this might be their only one this year.
