when you stop playing your best players you are no longer trying to win, and its a disrespect to everyone involved. might as well get midgets an horses out there.

one time i was in a summer league soccer team and the opposing team brought a girl on. it was not a serious league, it was just BREC. but it wasnt co-ed either. i was a defender and it really pissed me off because my main skill was being really fast and weighing 180 pounds and just smashing shoulders with whoever had the ball until they lost it. but with the girl i outweighed her by 50 pounds and hitting her at full speed would send her flying. so i couldntn do it. i just let her dribble around. it was bullshit. it was no longer a competitive game, it was no fun. she ruined it for us.

dont make a mockery of the game, people are trying to have fun and compete.
