The refs in this game are hilarious. UL player got his jersey nearly ripped off with the ref staring him down and he refused to throw a flag.

    Didn't they score 7 in 1924?

I believe USL has scored 25 total points on LSU in 22 meetings. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Right. I had remembered in 2006 Jim Hawthorne said their field goal was the first time they ever scored on us.

I remembered the same thing! I was like there's no way that's true and looked it up after Hawthorne's claim. As usual it was another JACK HUNT moment.. lol.

Maybe that was a defensive or special teams TD and they have never scored an offensive one.

Considering it was 2006 when he said and you'd have to go back to 1924 to find the last time they scored, I'd allow him a little leeway.

1924 was the only touchdown and the last time they had scored until 2006, yes, but that's in the media press release from the University to all the broadcasters calling the game. Hawthorne had any nuggets prepped for him by the LSU media department in his notes. I would expect the LSU guy to know it. It was one of the most interesting themes to the game -- that LSU had gone 10 straight meetings with a shutout. It's not like Jim had to go digging for the information. I miss Hawthorne, by the way. Speaking of trends, USL has scored 3 in the last two meetings we have had with them.

Yes. I wasn't going to argue with him after I'd posted the very same thing that jackass posted for you. :D

Agree. Plus player knee looked clearly down to me on a rip (fumble).

    I like UL's coach a lot.
