We've all heard these things before and if it was a letter to the editor, I wouldn't even mention it. But, the Daily fertilizer chose to spotlight it as their "Guest Columnist" feature in today's edition. LSU game wasn't fun for one Cajun fan | theadvertiser.com | The Advertiser
Sounds like a sore loser. She never pointed out anything specific anyone did to her to make her feel so bad. The USL fans in my area weren't bothered. Maybe she was the obnoxious one and got put in her place. I see she is a student. Maybe when she gets a little older and wiser she will learn how to behave in a way that gets her better treatment.
and pod, there arent even pics of the usl fans that came with qball and had a good time as guests at the tailgate. but the ones in your pic are ones we had never met and had a great time getting to know. they stuck by their team, predicted a win, but had a great attitude and werent looking for trouble. maybe that's the difference. as far as she had problems at the game.... twisted is right. she doesnt even give examples.
This was posted on TigerDroppings about 2 weeks ago. http://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/MessageTopic.asp?p=15293474&Pg=1 They found her Facebook and MySpace (for the record, she's not the blond) and she looks like the type who would whine if she merely was tiger baited. The thread is a good read, good for humor.
I really don't get the sheer hated from the ULL people. I get the jealous of big brother think, but it is something so much more than that. Some of the crap that is posted in the Daily Advertiser is shocking. But then again what do I expect from that paper. It has always been a piece of crap.
I actually pull for ULL when they aren't playing LSU, but what is the deal with them thinking that they are the only cajuns around? There are plenty of us here in Baton Rouge. My grandparents are from Plaucheville, a place it seems few have heard of, which is extremely cajun. They moved to Baton Rouge a while back and are LSU fans. Always will be. Tell this chick to get over it.
aren't the words "fan" and "fanatic" slightly synonymous? i know that it's likely that "fan" is at least a derivative of "fanatic." anyway, boo hoo! i think that i ought to start writing letters to editors every time something doesn't go the way i want it to. having worked as a reporter at a newspaper, i can tell you that there are few things more interesting than some of the drivel that gets sent to "The Editor." :hihi:
I live in Lafayette and grew up in this area. There are waaaaay more LSU than SLI/USL/ULL fans around here. That fact really preturbs the "ULL-LSU hater" crowd here.
