Ok smarty. I was just getting that when ppl talk about the golden bears they say Cal or UC not UCB. I dont hear anyone put Berkeley in Cal's name.

 

I hear UC Berkley all the time. Not when it comes to Football but when I hear about there other sports etc. I hear it as that.

 

Guys its as simple as this, Ul has asked to be called UL. Just like LSU asked to be called LSU not LSUA&M. Calling them anything else is just plain rude. Why would you not????Whats the big deal???

I've often heard of them referred to as Cal-Berkley, but that's not the point. Cal fans don't care. USL fans desperately want to be known as "Louisiana" and the Daily Fertilizer and KPEL/KTDY are enabling them by calling them that and nothing else.
