Who's behind the progressive protest in the streets of NYC and what do they want? Here is a clip that you might find interesting.

*Rebooting the system, and rewriting the Constitution.
The concept seems to be a reference to a plan to push for a new, “progressive” U.S. Constitution by the year 2020.
KleinOnline previously reported at least three White House advisers and officials, including President Obama’s regulatory czar, Cass Sunstein, have ties to the Constitution rewrite effort, which is funded by Soros.
Sunstein has also been pushing for a new socialist-style U.S. bill of rights that, among other things, would constitutionally require the government to offer each citizen a “useful” job in the farms or industries of the nation.
According to Sunstein’s new bill of rights, the U.S. government can also intercede to ensure every farmer can sell his product for a good return while the government is granted power to act against “unfair competition” and monopolies in business.
Reinstatement of the Glass-Steagall Act, which sought to enforce more government regulation of the banking industry. Some provisions of the act allowed the Federal Reserve to regulate interest rates in savings accounts.
Wall Street protests to turn violent?
Meanwhile, there are indications the Wall Street protesters are training to incite violence, resist arrest and disrupt the legal system.
The protest aims to take root nationwide.
Activists are advertising on social network sites such as Facebook and Twitter for a “Day of Rage” on Sept. 17 to begin with the “occupation” of Wall Street and continue with protests across the nation.

Who’s really behind Wall Street protests? Radicals foment agitation in New York, while hinting at American ‘Arab Spring’. « Klein Online

Left wing idiots marching in the streets promoting communism and / or socialism and refusing to realize that the free market capitalist system has made America the richest , most powerful country in human history.

    From another article:
This is one of the most obvious cases of controlled opposition that we have ever seen where the protesters are actually endorsing the collectivist ideologies that benefit the wealthy elite.* Communist and socialist ideolgies when put into practice have historically done nothing but centralize power and wealth in the hands of a few people as seen in the cases of the Soviet Union and China in the 20th century
Occupy Wall Street Protests Mostly Full of Useful Idiot Communists and Socialists | Truth is Treason

It is shocking how stupid young people can be to blindly follow the failed policies of socialistic and communistic mistakes of the past. Capitalism has never had to put up walls to keep it's people in. The idiots of the east and west coast won't be happy until they destroy everything that our founding fathers have fought to give us.

i see those kids on tv talkinng about how they are defending the poor, like themselves. right. no chance those kids dont live in million dollar brownstones in park slope.

these protestors are never the actual poor, who are bangladeshi and live 9 to an apartment in rego park or bensonhurst. the reaon the bangldeshis are not complaining is that with 5 years they will own a bodega and send their kids to brown.

poor dont exist in america, period.

There is no other system on earth that amasses wealth to the average person like the free market capitalist system. Even red should( maybe) agree with that. He has a nice nest egg , he has said so. In a communist nation like the old ussr, only government officials were rich. In no way could a person educate themselves and work hard to obtain such success. It is government intervention in the free market that causes it to fail.

They are being taught this chit in universities across the country. The people teaching them this should know better. But what can you expect, most of them never had a job outside of a school in their entire life. They have lived in a vacuum where they get government checks and government grants everything government. That's the only reasoning I can think of to why they want to give government more power. How is it that our universities and media have been corrupted in thought to the extent that they will turn on everything our country has stood for and adopt the failed policies of our former cold war enemies. Like Stalin said, communism will take over America without firing a shot. Isn't it ironic that Russia is turning more capitalist and places like California and the pacific northwest have more of a love for communism than Russia has. Why anyone would want to empower the federal government more is beyond me. The soilders that fought communism during the cold war must be wondering where they went wrong raising their kids for them to think like they do. Amazing.

I can't understand why people are upset that someone is finally protesting the group of people who have singlehandedly ****ed up this country more than anyone and have only prospered as a result, avoiding punishment for their misdeeds...

I know you don;t know it, but you are making a fool of yourself. You should go to college someday and find out what is real.

You are the most frightened person I know and it's always over something that is absurd. The universities are not the enemy of America, they are largely responsible for making America great. Stalin has been dead for 60 years and America is not even close to Communism. Stop being afraid of the dark.

Jesus, do you ever bother to check the facts before you speak? California and Oregon are no Communist and Russia is doing a very poor job of becoming capitalist

You are afraid of your own stereotypes.

    Hi Rwilliams,...:D

I think you're image of the Pacific Northwest is probably skewed by our reputation.

Oregon is usually a blue state during presidential elections. Senate and congressmen are often split pretty even demo/repub. Usually we have a Demo Governor, and the State Senate and House is strongly Republican.

Oregon, Washington is as strongly capitalistic as any other place. People here care most about their family and jobs.

Socialism not communism is the issue I think, and socialism is already firmly entrenched in America. National defense, interstate highways, police, hydroelectric dams, all fall within the definition of socialism.

The only socialistic program with much support in Oregon that you hear much about is, Socialized healthcare, better police, and better public schools.

Environmental concerns, healthier life styles, alternate hippy stuff, is probably more prevalent in the NW then it is in LA. Still only a small % of people in Oregon/Washington care about that kind of stuff. I'm just guessing, but I doubt there's a huge difference between our regions really. We watch the same TV, how different could we be?

    There are some differences, and there are a few socialist things,.. that I'm proud of;

In the early 60's, the entire Oregon coast was made public property, there are no private ocean beaches, or restricted access beaches in Oregon.

Oregon had the first bottle deposit law

I think, that Oregon was the first state to have propositions on the ballot.

Oregon is the only state to have vote by mail, (which works great by the way).

My little town has an Air Force base, and I'm proud to say that Oregon supports our troops.

Labor Unions and MoveOn.Org have joined the protest. It will be interesting to see how they try to direct this youthful angst and general disillusionment.

We may see that they work to ensure that the protesters are angry at the right people.

Isn't it always that every leftist protest seems to start with university students? These kids just graduated highschool. Many don't have to shave but once a month. Were talking kids that have no real world experience at all. They were going to prep rallies and prom dances the year or two before. They are young, naive and completely clueless about how the real world exists. They never had to pay mortages, have helpless children rely on them for survival or make any important decisions in their short lives. They go to college and are indoctrinated into leftist thought and convinced to march in the streets by adults that use them. They are filled with complete idiological bullchit.
