If devin Hester can make a living in the NFL (if only he had a consistent QB to get him the ball) then McCluster can. A kid this talented will find a spot on some teams roster. Has too much talent and football speed not to.

i was about to post something similar.

finishing strong, with a high final ranking in the polls, a decisive bowl victory....

all of those things are helping set us up for next year. momentum. the attitude of perseverance. a strong program that helps get another great recruiting class. possibly helping placement in next year's pre-season rankings.

imo, a strong finish with two more regular season w's and a bowl win will do a lot more than just placate the fan base.

Not to say the Miles doesn't care what the fan base thinks, because he does, but I think his goals for his team and himself are his first priorities. Not achieving those goals is a personal failure in his mind, and he would beat himself up more than we fans ever could. This commitment on his behalf is part of what makes him such a good coach.:geaux: :LSU231: :milesmic:

As soon as this year is over they will start getting ready for next year. That is soon enough. No sense rushing this year for next year when this year is not over until next year starts next year. What a year! This year, not next year.

Only way you'll see bench warmers play is if a blowout happens. I don't see that for Ole Miss, but possible for Arkansas. They need some game time for experience, but they're usually on the bench for a reason. Next year is too far down the road, we have three potholes to clear first :tigereye:
