The next two games really matter much from a Bowl perspective. Win one and you probably play in the Cotton Bowl. Win two it's probably the Cap One Bowl. Lose both and maybe still play in the Cotton Bowl.

This a good chance for some of our younger guys to gain some experience. Guys like Jefferson on offense and some of our younger D line man.

I'd like to see Baker get some more time at LB since we are going to be thin at LB next year.

You won't see Les freely substituting younger players unless one or both games are blowouts.

I think that's easy to say but in reality could you tell these seniors that poured their hearts and souls into the program the past four to five years that you're getting ready for next year?

I agree that they should maybe see a little more time but not at the expense of losing a game.

Miles is getting hammered for winning, I seriously doubt he'd use an SEC game for a readiness period and chance a loss. I surely wouldn't.

Why is it that so many people are ready to throw away our seniors? They have won a chitload of games and a NC, and people want to see the young guys who will have their turn WHEN it's their TURN.

We should celebrate our seniors and appreciate them while we have them.

The all or nothing mentality makes for a miserable fan base. Leave that to the Bama fans that cling to championships past. I'd much rather enjoy a possible 10-2 regular season, than throw that away for "next year".

How we finish can impact recruiting and where we start the season next year. Put the team on the field that gives us the best opportunity to win both games and the bowl. Go Tigers!!!!!!

How about we win these football games and then we use spring practice to get ready for next year?

Terrible strategy. Aside from a being a slap in the face to the seniors, it conveys to the team that it's ok not to finish strong. Besides, even IF it doesn't make a big difference in what bowl we go to, there is a HUGE difference in the way the school is going to be looked upon when it comes to having a 10 win season, or an 8 win season.

The goal for this team has been, and should always be, control what you can and finish strong. Hmm.. 10-2 (11-2 after bowl) and a possible top 5 ranking at season's end, as compared to 8-4 (9-4 after bowl) and falling back into the second straight year of mediocrity ranked in the teens if we're even ranked... I know which I'd rather.

The team has plenty of time to work on next year. How about we finish THIS one first?
