    I think it's like TCU and Patterson being the man that is the real DC.

    Carroll is the DC.

    Still a good pickup for Sark.

    It's huge. Sark has taken Director of Football Ops Dennis Slutak (one of the best) and now Holt. While PC is VERY involved in the D, many expected that Holt would hold down the fort next season while PC spent more time with the O and a very unseasoned OC John Morton. Carl Smith has yet to ink a deal. If Smith doesn't come on board, PC is spread pretty thin. I do hope that David Watson follows up North. CYa.

    Carl Smith, he of the 'run up the middle on 1st and 2nd down, then have all receivers run 5yrd routes on 3rd and 10' fame? Definitely need to get him on USCs staff.

    Carl Smith was the best between the 20s OC over in the history of football. He was also the worse red zone OC ever in the history of football.

    Why you think Morten Andersen is a first ballot hall of famer?
