They dont play anyone worth a damn. they werent convincing vs. arizona, nor against Cal. They lost to Oregon St. They beat Ohio St. at the beginning of the year, they play in a conference where its a cakewalk to the championship, then as a result of that they are rewarded by playing a weak ass team from the little 10 so they can claim they are the best every year. ever wonder why hardly anyone from USC is ever injured? Then when they get to the pro's they start getting injured left and right.........yeah.....

Which is exactly the reason I argue against college football playoffs that would emulate the NFL playoffs. The NFL playoffs are not as efficient as they could be.

 So wrong, it's laughable. Last year Patrick Turner got a shoulder stinger courtesy of Rey Maualuga.....in practice. He experienced numbness in that arm for the entire season and his numbers reflected that. The defense this year put up some ridiculous numbers and after all they do practice against one another every day.

Considering USC played a weakass team from the little 10 for the last few years, does that make LSU's NC victory from last year over a weakass little 10 team unimpressive?

would be a no. florida best team in the land, Utah close second. watched USC about 5 times this season and couldnt really tell if they were just really good, or their opponents were just really bad. put USC around 5th or 6th.

It would shut them up a bit, but really, who cares? I believe a lot more people would be satisfied with a well-designed playoff.

    you just confirmed my statement.

and yes it was impressive to me, im an LSU fan, and every LSU victory is impressive to me, if i were not an LSU fan, then it probably wouldnt have been impressive. Just like i would expect you a USC fan to defend your team, even when the only competition they go up against is in practice.

and a shoulder stinger from one dude? thats the best you could come up with? I want you to do me a favor. Go pull up the injury report from teams in the Fudge Pac-10, and then do the same from the teams in the SEC. And if you think that USC would dominate year in and year out if they were in the SEC, then you need to share some of that cali bud with the rest of us because that **** must be the fiyaaaa!!

For the same reason I didn't mention SC playing Washington State, Stanford, etc. every year. Again, LSU has nothing to gain by scheduling top ten teams every year. No big school does. All it does is increase the odds that SC will coast through their schedule to play another team with a cakewalk for a schedule to play for the BCS CG because a premium is placed on undefeated seasons without looking at who they play.

Ho Hum....another end of year discussion on whether USC COULD be the best team in the country after failing to do what they needed to do during the regular season. How many years are we going to have this stupid discussion????
If USC wants to be ranked #1 at the end of the year, then beat the likes of Oregon St., Stanford, UCLA, and California during the regular season, and they won't have to make up retarded arguments at the end of the year.
The fact is USC loses to mediocre teams during the regular seaon while other teams do not. USC needs to stop complaining at season's end and do what they need to do DURING the season.

Hell, every voter and media member would have an orgasm at the thought of USC playing for the national championship IF THEY DESERVED IT. It's not like the Trojans are getting screwed every year.

Win the games they have to win, and USC will play for the championship. If not, then shut the hell up.

No. You said hardly anyone from USC is ever injured. Off the top of my head I mentioned a key injury to one of our WR's from last year. That was just ONE.

So it's only impressive when LSU beats a crappy little 10 team. mmmk.

I don't work for you. You made the claim, you go do the work. You won't find any difference in injury reports from conference to conference. What you will find is that the majority of injuries occur in practice and often from non-contact. :hihi:

It took you just over 3 years to find something worth posting about? Glad it was USC that got in your head. :hihi:

Look I'm frustrated at the unexpected losses as much as any USC fan. However when I look at this:

    11-2, 12-1, 13-0, 12-1, 11-2, 11-2, 12-1
    6-1 in BCS bowl games
13-1 against ucla and the irish

it is darn hard to complain.
