Considering that perfect stop on 3rd down that saved a score, you are perhaps right. Though to be honest, it should be 14-10 Washington right now, but a 10-10 tie... We were down against you at the half.

Admittedly, it's weird to see a team that might get votes even though it may be 1-3 by the end of the 3rd week because through 6 halves against top 15 teams (at the time, top 10 teams now), a 0-12 team a year ago is holding on.

Now if I could just get the 5 year old off the PS2 so I could watch some tv... then I wouldn't be glued to ESPN for box score updates. Sheesh we need another tv badly.

UW tied it up... please give us a USC loss today.

Nice you said "imo" when you said Washington is not a very good team. Why? Because you're outta your friggin mind. Just watching this game and the facts of the LSU game, Washington is a very good team. If you think they're so bad, turn the friggin channel and ignore them. But you may miss a chance to see em take out USC. And all that does is verify that LSU is a Very Good team.

LSU is a great team... hence why i'm an LSU fan. And like I said in another thread, I have a 5 year old on the PS2, so I only get to look at box scores on ESPN.com... but my statement stands... UW is not a very good team... good maybe, but not very good. USC like we were last year is down a bit... with some ??? on defense and two inexperienced QBs... and like I said mr. reading disability... had we played them later in the season, I think our young, damn fine football team would've won much more lopsided. You can make all the excuses you want about our 1 point Offensive win over UW... it was a mediocre played game by LSU... NOT Washington holding us back. We are a young team looking for an identity and need a little more playing time together to put all the pieces together. Nothing more nothing less. Besides shouldn't you be watching the other "cats" play, ie. the Nittany Lions... now let us southern folk get back to the discussion.

So far Washington is +3 in the turnover battle. All three turnovers by USC have come within 25 yards of a score by the Trojans. Washington may not be lighting things up right now, but they're making the key plays exactly where and when they need to.

Locker is not nearly as sharp today as he was against us. But the UW defense is putting up a great effort. Tie game going into the 4th.

USC's defense is making the plays it needs to as well, making it difficult for Locker and the Huskies. But the Offense is trying to hand Washington the game right now.

Look, i think Washington is a good team, and we won a tough game up there, with all of the factors, traveling the furthest ever, playing late at night, opening game, etc etc, but USC is not as good as the experts think they are. They are loaded with talent, but still young. Take it for what its worth, i thought this game would be a blowout, and i was throwing out excuses as to why we can't look at this game to guage our talent, but being the true flip flopper that i am, this DOES make me feel better about the LSU UW game. Maybe i was just guarding myself from being let down if USC thumped UW.

I still think LSU could have played alot better but those excuses everyone was throwing out as to why we didnt look that great i think have more validity than most thought.
