Kirk Herb said USC is his sleeper to get in should WVU loses and the winner of today's Kansas vs Missouri loses to OKlahoma putting OSU vs USC. I thought this scenario would put us back in it with a DOMINATING win in the SECCG. We should still be ranked higher than USC IMO.

He is full of it. If LSU wins agains UAG in the SECCG and WV drops one and OU wins the big 12 than LSU will play tOSU in the NC game. Tenn has to lose to KY this afternoon and a loss by WV today and a Kansas win tonight, LSU will only drop to 4 or 5.

If USC is 3-8 they are Herbie's sleeper to win it all. If you let just him and Holtz pick the BCS it would be USC v. Notre Dame every year no matter what the records were.

Actually it would be OSU v. Notre Dame... Herbie loves USC's jock, but nowhere near as much as tOSU.

There's no way a team that loses to a 40pt dog should play in the NC game.

I am really not liking the idea of a Pac-10/Big-10 matchup for the MNC. I don't like this disparity in CFB where some conferences have a CCG and some don't. Those two conferences need to find a way to get a CCG, even if they don't have 12 teams in their leagues. $.02

I agree that USC is out. I don't see them getting in. What do they have left, UCLA? :nope:

We've had better wins, and you can have a close argument on the losses. I wouldn't be shocked if the USC bias had them at # 2 or 3 within the week.
