Perhaps it was a case of a young man who didn't make his intentions clear. There is still obviously time for him to change his mind but as of today he remains a Trojan commit. Kennard will announce his choice tomorrow AM. Burfict is still on the academic tightrope. If he can't pull it off, he'll be a Sun Devil. Te'o dropped BYU and Furd. He's down to 3.
Yeah, it's been touched on, but I also saw that Burfict may drop USC for ASU. Huge loss for the University of Spoiled Children if true.
There is a difference between not being academically qualified and the recruit dropping the school. Burfict has been struggling to get his grades in order for months. ASU is where he has several friends so it's an obvious choice and academically he'll have an easier time. Sure he's a great one but huge loss? No. Best to wait until the 4th to see how things shake out.
