Not one of them has ever said: "He hates to recruit" or "Recruitng with him is a liability". I hope Scott Woodward is as interested in Aranda as Scott Rabalais of the BR Advocate thinks he is. But what do I know. I see a lot more Napier talk than Aranda talk on the LSU msg boards.
I think Napier has plants. Plus a bunch of “one-of-us” clowns. Still, Napier before Jimbo/Franklin for me. Those two need to go somewhere. If Woodward has watched Jimbo unfold at A&M and still wants that guy, Woody isn’t quite the savant we’re led to believe. (Of course, i could be the one that’s totally wrong.)
Jimbo was a perceived big name upgrade for aTm in terms of where there program was at. He had quality time here at LSU back in the day and won a BCS title at FSU. So what has Jimbo done at aTm to date? The best I would say is that they are more competitive, generally, but that’s it. Their “signature” program wins seem to be beating us in 2018 in that BS OT game and then a weaker BAMA team this year. I guess I am not on the Jimbo train either, but won’t be totally pissed if he were to somehow land here. But I don’t think he will.
