Hell, I guess you do like USC to run the table. Who doesn't? If they can't run the table in that pathetic conference in which they are the ONLY ranked team, then the PAC-10 doesn't even have one very good team.

So what you're saying is that the SEC is overrated right? You grade them based on what they've done so far. Not on what you think they're gonna do in upcoming weeks. Do I believe Bama would have beaten Oregon St? Yes. I do think Bama picks up a loss or two before the end of the season, but they are in a much tougher conference. But who knows, maybe they won't. I pray they will.

Your almost making it sound like they don't belong in the top 10 and they do. If you look outside of LSU at #11, it's probably the weakest and strangest looking bottom half of a top 25 I've ever seen. Bama would beat all of those teams.

Okay, that's enough about Bama, etc. I don't want anyone to get confused and think I want Bama to win because I definitely don't. Tygrr, I'm sure we both want USC and Bama to lose so that's all that matters in the end, right?

I will be at USC's next loss....this weekend here in Tucson. AZ actually has a chance if they play like they played Saturday and if USC committs a couple of turnovers.....upset alert!

In the end, that is indeed all that matters.

For the record, I do think the SEC is a little overrated this year.

Yes, and I also watched your Sooners get absolutely pummeled a few years ago by the Trojans. Point being, one game doesn't define a team. You and I both know OU was better than what they displayed against USC in 05' and you and I both know USC is better than what they displayed against Oregon State earlier this season.

There are two ways to rank teams obviously - how they do it in the current poll system and how they would play on a neutral field at this current time.

USC should not be a top team right now because of their schedule. But in Vegas they would probably be a favorite against every single team except for maybe against Texas, Florida, or Oklahoma. And Vegas isn't biased.

Indeed, vegas is usually the most accurate.

Shouldn't Oregon State be in there?

In that case, Ole Miss belongs too.

You know better than that, Sabanfan. It doesn't work that way in college football.

Edit: Upon further investigation, I now see that there are a couple of other teams that posted 60+ on Washinton State. So maybe that win isn't so impressive, I'll concede that. I still think USC is top 5.

I like Texas vs Florida in the NC.

I think Penn State will have their one bad game this year against none other than Ohio State.

If they don't, it's clear sailing and a trip to the NC.
